Publishing Policy

Writer / Authors

Please do not send unsolicited manuscripts. If you are asked to submit to us the full manuscript, then please send a hard copy in double line spacing with wide margins all around to enable comments to be made, as and when necessary. Under no circumstances will we be responsible for lost or damaged materials. Please do not send originals and please ensure your name and address is on the manuscript. Send a self addressed stamped envelope in the event that you wish the material returned to you.

We do acknowledge the receipt of your manuscripts and it usually takes about three to six weeks after receipt of the full manuscripts before we send to you any information regarding possible publishing agreements for consideration.

Illustrators / Cover Artists

Please do not send unsolicited illustrations. If you are asked to submit to us illustrations, then please send any samples you would like us to review or keep on file. Good quality photocopies are fine. You may send a dummy book if you wish to showcase your ability to create a picture book.

Do not, under any circumstances, send original art. While we make every effort to take scrupulous care of materials in our possession, SaVvmari cannot be responsible for their loss or damage. However, we will be happy to review color copies, slides, prints, or photographs of your artwork and will return the samples upon request as long as they are accompanied by a self addressed stamped envelope if you wish the material returned to you. Otherwise, please only include recyclable materials with your submission.
